Tammy Lynn Newman

Tammy Lynn Newman, age 64, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Jackson, Mississippi with her daughter and sister by her side. She was born on July 16, 1961, in Natchez, Mississippi.

Tammy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Rocky; her daughter, DezaRae; her stepdaughter, Kairee; her grandchildren, Karmyn, Derik, Logen, Emory, and Aliah; and her sisters, Kathy and Stacey. Along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Ferrell Jr.; her mother, Janice Ferrell; her sister, Susan Ogle; and her daughter, Lindsey Graves, whom she carried in her heart always.

Tammy’s love will live on through her family and the many memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
